SPAIN IN GRID LOCK AFTER GENERAL ELECTION
Yesterday saw the second general election in Spain following the December election which failed to produce a majority government. Mariano Rajoy's PP party secured the most votes but fell short of the required number to head up the new Government. This morning has already seen discussions starting between the PP party and their possible coalition partner. Should these discussions fail, Spain will be forced back to the public vote again within as little as two months for a further general election.
