It has a surprising amount of its own amenities including; restaurants, tapas bars, shops, butchers, bakers, banks, vets, health centre, municipal pool with sports facilities plus a weekly Tuesday street market. It also has a lovely little plaza in front of the pretty church perfect for sitting out and enjoying a coffee plus the Casa de Culrura centre where you can enjoy a show or a concert.  Within walking distance you have the popular commercial centres at Benimar which offer a great choice of bars and restaurants plus the Spanish town of Rojales where you can enjoy a walk along the river. For nature lovers you have both the Canada Marsa and the El Secano Parks along with a lovely lake. Alicante airport is a 45 minute drive away and the new airport at Corvera can be reached in less than an hour.
